Welcome to the Totternhoe Website

This site is brought to you by the local parish council. Our aim is to provide you either as a visitor or a resident with information about the village, the matters that affect it, and the activities going on. We aim to inform you of upcoming events and to report on activities in, and around, the village. Please do let us know what you would like to see and hear about. We'd love to hear from you.

New planning application for the Lime Works

A planning application has been raised with Central Beds for a change of use of part of the former Lime Works from B2 to End of Life Vehicle and Metal Recycling Facility with associated plant and the erection of a de-pollution building.

If you have any views on this you can check out the details by following the links below.
You’ll be able to add your comments on the web site either in support of the application (i.e. may bring work to the area) or object (i.e. increase in noise and traffic)

Luton Airport Masterplan

Proposals to expand Luton Airport to accommodate 16 million passengers a year have been announced by London Luton Airport Operations Limited (LLAOL), the company that runs it.

You can view details of the plan on their website and provide your feedback.

Queens Jubilee Street Party Road Closures

If any road/street in the village is considering having a party for the Queens Jubilee they must apply to Central Beds Council for approval of the road/street closure.

See the contact details below or visit the Central Beds Council website for the application forms.

Totternhoe Football Club

Totternhoe Football Club was formed in 1906 and is still going strong today - last year winning the Cup and just last week winning team of the month.

They are a club that survives on the goodwill of volunteers. They raised over £16,000 two years ago from a fete, 160 volunteers and local businesses to refit their changing facilities. Then last year they raised over £10,000 to refit the toilets and decorate the clubhouse.

The Club had the world champion in “Keepy Uppey” open the fete during his UK tour.
